Ali Ryerson
Ali Ryerson is an internationally renowned jazz flutist, recording artist, and composer. Past NFA Jazz Chair, founder of the NFA Jazz Flute Big Band, and current NFA Low Flutes Chair, Ryerson is also very active in jazz education. Professor of Flute at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, Ali presents annual jazz masterclasses worldwide, an online masterclass series (Lessonface), and her 'Jazz Flute Practice Method' book and 'Jazz Flute Masterclass" DVD are both top sellers in the flute community. Ali is a Gemeinhardt Artist with an Autographed Series of flutes. Ryerson studied with Harold Bennett and John Wion, and is a graduate of the Hartt School of Music.
