The Need for Self Preservation

Described as having “always been captivated by music” (Bravo Magazine 2019), Alyssa Miller lives her purpose as a flutist and piccoloist in Southern California. Alyssa has twice won both the Biola University Concerto Competition and the Biola PRISM competition. She has performed in masterclasses for Jim Walker, Marina Piccinini, Robert Dick, Amy Porter, Bonnie Boyd, Carol Wincenc, and many others. Alyssa is the recipient of multiple academic and music scholarships and awards including the Missy Belton Service Award and Scholarship. Alyssa spends her summers attending various masterclasses and festivals.
