“Audiences for classical music are graying and will eventually become extinct. It will take a breed of composers, comfortable in several musical styles to turn things around. Caliendo is one of their intrepid pioneers. Chamber Jazz is a musical marriage.” — Jeff Briton – Mega-Scene

  2. Avatar Of John Santana

    John Santana

“Christopher Caliendo has really done it: come up with music whose style, charm , grace and excitement are not only “Caliendo ” but also have the intangible and elusive quality we think of as American. Its Gershwin meets Copland meets Duke Ellington. Yet it is authentically Christopher himself. In it you’ll find jazz and classical, wit and depth, rhythm and lyricism played by a virtuoso ensemble who really understand what music means to the soul.” — John Santana – KKGO-FM

  3. Avatar Of Henry Mancini - Composer

    Henry Mancini – Composer

“Christopher Caliendo was the recipient of my film music scholarship in 1987. Since then I have been following his progress with interest. His horizons have widened and I see him as developing into a most important composer.” — Henry Mancini – composer
