The consultation is where we meet.
The score is where we make something unforgettable.
This is not a generic report. It is a complete musical roadmap for your film — built from the same process I apply to every score I write at the Hollywood level.
I bring something to your film most consultants cannot — I don't just advise on scores. I write them. At the highest level. For the biggest studios. On time and under budget.
If I score your film, the consultation fee comes out of the music budget
If I'm selected as your composer, the full consultation fee is credited against the music budget — so the conversation costs you nothing in the end.

This is what you receive. The following is an excerpt from an actual consultation I delivered for a $3.2M independent feature. Client and project details have been changed to protect confidentiality.
Excerpt — Script Music Analysis · Initial Response · Romantic Suspense Thriller · Budget $3.2M · Music Budget $85K–$120K
When I read a script I respond to, I cannot help but hear it. What follows is my initial musical thinking — scene by scene, theme by theme, the architecture I believe this film wants.
The score's central dramatic challenge is this: the music must tell the audience what Daniel knows before Daniel knows he knows it. The thematic architecture I am proposing is built around a principle of contamination — one theme slowly invading and corrupting another, bar by bar, as the film progresses toward its revelation.
This is not a film that needs a loud score. It needs a precise one. The orchestra should feel, for the first two acts, like a beautiful and trustworthy narrator — and the audience should not realize until Act Three that the narrator has been lying to them the entire time.
There are four distinct song moments in this script. My recommendation is that all four be commissioned as originals. A sync license for a single well-known song placement in an independent film currently runs $5,000–$30,000 for the sync rights alone — the master recording license is a separate negotiation. Four commissioned original songs can be delivered within the music budget at a fraction of that cost, and the production owns the masters outright. There are no territory restrictions, no renewal negotiations, no vulnerability to a label's change of business strategy after your film is in distribution.
The full consultation runs to a complete scene-by-scene analysis, thematic architecture, budget breakdown, and overseas recording roadmap.
