He created a suite for us that is alternately sweeping and sinister, lush and lurking, sometimes soaring, sometimes sneaking, in a rich romantic vein that you just don't find in writing in Hollywood these days. It perfectly compliments our straight-faced spoof of those old dark house mysteries of the 30's, with their sliding panels, secret passageways, houseful of eccentric suspects, and murderous phantoms. For me, it completes a wonderful design trifecta, with Tony Tremblay's amazing sets, and Kristin Burke's spot-on costumes."
